A paintball sniper is one of the most demanding and exciting role in playing paintball. Its role in the paintball field is usually the one that shoots the targets from a masked or hidden location. There are two kinds of paintball snipers, the forward sniper, and the rear or guard sniper. His spot must be where he can cover his team mates during the course of dispersing and attack. Usually, he sees the opponent going through his way but he will not be seen. An excellent way of performing an attack as a forward sniper is to allow the opponent to pass after him and finally shoots successfully at the back of the opponent. It is important to know the battlefield by heart so that he will know where the opponents might be hiding or take their tracks. The forward sniper’s important role is shooting the most experienced opponent before they catch him. Once they do, he must move to another spot to hide and track the opponent and cover his allies.

Camouflage. Being a paintball sniper calls for being invisible at the fields to make a surprising attack. It would not be possible if the sniper is not well concealed. Some wears real bushes to help them blend with the surroundings. You just have to be creative enough to know what to wear for you to easily blend and hide with the surroundings, but comfort and efficiency must not be compromised.

Of all these, paintball snipers must possess a keen eye to observe the battlefield, and must be sensitive to its surroundings. These two players sometimes are the key to win a paintball game.
